Old science fiction story, can’t remember the author/title.

In the future, men and women are working side by side doing asteroid mining/operations. All the spacesuits look the same. For morale purposes, they design special suits for the women that let them choose which men can ‘see’ through their suits. Later on in the story they make special keys that the men can use to unlock the suits once they get back to the ships.

[remember, this story was originally written for a 1950s general audience.]

From talking to people who were born in the 50s and 60s that isn’t really all that far off from how parties used to work back in the day.

Yeah, well. I’ve talked to the same people and they lie a lot. Fro every Hugh Hefner there were a million Archie Bunkers…

I’d wholeheartedly believe there were people that bored and horny in small town Nebraska in the 70s.

I wholeheartedly believe that every one in that small Nebraska town, men and women, looked like Archie Bunker.
