My county has a pretty robust program for residents available with regular recycling and hazardous waste like oil or paint in certain locations. There’s sometimes restrictions and sorting required from customers, but it’s usually pretty straight forward if you look it up

Put it in a jar or can and put it on the compost or garbage
If it’s not that much: soak it in a paper towel and throw that away. For frying: put it back in the bottle and throw that away if the oil is spend.
If its oil, you might be able to donate it to a home diesel user
