Thanks everyone for the comments, helps me alot. I think I will add some color to the wall (not all) like the sage green color recommended sounds good.
Maybe a clock to the wall lol.
I just want to take it slow, I don’t want it looking too much.
Add some strip lights under and over the cabinets. It will liven up the space and helps you see better when cooking. I prefer Hue or Nanoleaf light strips but there are many to choose from.
