I use wireguard now, I decided to cut my subscription to a VPN for when I left my LAN. I tried setting up tailscale but had difficulties getting it to work with my homelab. I am thinking of spreading my homelab across to homes for cloud back up as I have also started using nextcloud rather than any third party clouds.
