US Muslim leaders who supported Republican Donald Trump to protest against the Biden administration’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza and attacks on Lebanon have been deeply disappointed by his cabinet picks, they tell Reuters.
“Trump won because of us and we’re not happy with his Secretary of State pick and others,” says Rabiul Chowdhury, a Philadelphia investor who chaired the Abandon Harris campaign in Pennsylvania and co-founded Muslims for Trump. Muslim support for Trump helped him win Michigan and may have factored into other swing state wins, strategists believe.
No fucking shit.
Go fuck yourself.
No need. I’m pretty sure Trump will fuck them with round 2 of the Muslim ban, but I hope I’m wrong.
It will not involve lube.
It will not be pretty.
It will not be quick.
“Hey, asshole. Shut up and get on the plane.”- Trump Administration to this chucklefuck in a couple months.
You voted for this, you stupid motherfucker. Now you get to enjoy the ride like the rest of us.
There won’t be planes, or deportations. There will only be caged slave laborers in concentration camps owned by his friends, with the government (read taxpayers) paying the rent month after month, year after year.
Weird kink you got, mate
Concentration camps might be a bit hyperbolic, but that was actually a fairly accurate description of how private prisons manage to make a profit.
Except for a handful of states that passed legislation to prevent it, the 13th amendment makes an exception allowing involuntarily servitude as the punishment for committing crimes. If they manage to create a kangaroo court designed to be a revolving door of convictions for “illegal immigrants”, they absolutely could keep people effectively locked up as slaves for a while.
Concentration camps might be a bit hyperbolic
It is not. Calling them “death camps” would be hyperbolic because Trump hasn’t started talking about a “final solution” (yet), but “concentration camp” is very much a factually-accurate synonym for the sorts of mass detention facilities necessary to implement deportations at the scale Trump has been proposing.
They are already scouting for sites for the “immigrant detention centers”.
Suppose they achieve their objective. All that money being made? No way that system doesn’t want to swallow even more people, and not “just” immigrants.
You are absolutely correct, but I was trying to avoid being inflammatory and giving an easy strawman when explaining why Trump’s concentration camps are within the realm of possibility.
Concentration camps might be a bit hyperbolic
…donvict and this thugs enter the chat…
Trump’s transition team is looking at how many migrants each region can hold, including in Democratic-controlled metropolitan areas across the country. A source familiar with the plans said they prioritize areas with large migrant populations that lack detention facilities, rather than single out Democratic strongholds.
Cities with large populations of migrants — like Denver, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago — could need additional detention sites built nearby to hold migrants arrested there. The administration might also need to reopen, expand or build new facilities in the Northeast to hold migrants arrested around New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, the source said.
Another source familiar with the plans said so-called sanctuary policies in Democratic cities should not prevent ICE from expanding detention there.
The details of the plan open a window into what Trump has promised will be the “largest deportation operation in American history.” Critics of the plan have said he would lack the money, staffing, willingness from countries to take back migrants, flights and detention space to make it a reality.
They’re the sort of assholes who’d only have ham sandwiches on the flight
I didn’t think the leopards would eat my face!
I mean what did they expect? Yes, i didn’t agree with Bidens current policy or what Kamala was going to do, but I knew trump would be worse.
Man, Americans are so fat even our leopards overeat.
There’s at least 76,430,748 new faces to be eaten. Not enough leopards.
Oh, they will find the leopards.
Sorry my bad, I meant that as to why that leopard was the size it was. Too many faces to eat. Gluttonous.
Chonky kitty!
It’s trueeeeee. But can you blame them? High calorie diet! Americans a yuuuuuge

I honestly have no idea how any Muslim could vote for Trump unless they were completely ignorant. He is not their friend by any stretch of the imagination. It’s not going to end well for them.
Conservative religious beliefs and ignorance often go hand-in-hand.
What comes first, the ignorance or the religion.
Ignorance.
Yeah, the religion maintains the ignorance, but doesn’t create it
Previous election 80% of them voted for Biden.
Did the Democrats eat their face in some way? Like by exterminating a Muslim population?
Whether Israel gets the weapons from America, Russia, South Africa, Britain, Korea, China or wherever. They are going to find a way to arm themselves and defend themselves. Decades of warfare against other countries pushes the Israelis to commit some pretty disgusting acts. Trying to blame an American political party on either side is not an intelligent response.
Spoken like someone that doesn’t understand how much their military depends upon American aid.
Edit: spoken also like someone that doesn’t know that the US stopped every Israeli war because unlike you Israel knows it can’t exist without free weapons from the US.
And before you say ‘military aid is a handout to US weapons manufacturers’, an argument I suspect you’re not knowledgeable enough to make, Israel is the exception to that because unlike EVERY other country in the world that receives US military aid, Israel receives half of the aid as pure money they get to spend with other countries.
So when you say they’d just get the weapons from other countries, you’re doubly wrong, because they wouldn’t have the money, our fucking money, to do so.
Have you learned anything yet, or is your racism against Arabic people so strong that nothing will penetrate your desire to justify genocide?
lmao I’m American you stooge. I don’t agree with what Israel is doing. I’m also not foolish enough to think we should stop countries from defending themselves.
How is genocide and Settler Colonialism defending themselves?
…
How does your nationality impact your utter ignorance of the percentage of weapons that Israel receives comes from America.
Great way to try and change the subject of your utter ignorance to one of your nationality, but you’re the only one bringing it up, and it’s perfectly clear to everyone reading what you’re doing. Oh, yeah, I almost forgot, you stooge. What a weird fucking insult to throw in there.
Also, if they want to defend themselves they should. Themselves. Oh, that’s right, they can’t.
Also, genocide is not self defense. Nor is apartheid or annexation.
EDIT: go ahead and read the edit I’ve made to the comment you responded to.
They could never afford it.
From Iron Dome to F-15s: US provides 70% of Israel’s war costs
Why oh why didn’t anyone warn them?
They were too busy praying to Trump
All this time/effort organizing around him when a 5 minute Google search would have shown you he’d pledge unquestioning support for Netanyahu
Not to mention Trump’s “sharpie realignment” of Israel’s border during his last term. These people have rocks in their heads if they thought this was going to go any other way.
This is what I don’t get.
Trump is like everyone’s marvel superhero, he’s whatever they imagine they want, the alternative to everyone else… Even very legitimate and thought out criticism can somehow conclude with supporting Trump when that makes no sense.
These are not smart people.
You are the reason I dislike liberals.
You just look down on other people instead of trying to understand why they did what they did.
Be more like AOC. She asked her constituents that voted for both her and Trump why they voted for Trump so that she could understand them.
Do you know anyone in your personal life that fell victim to a scam? Used car? Telemarketer?
How many times would it take that victim being scammed by the same person before you called them dumb?
What does calling people dumb accomplish? Get them to hate you?
Why don’t you do something productive like help them recognize scams?
It socially shames you into making better choices.
If you were dumb yesterday, you can be not-dumb tomorrow if you admit to yourself that you were dumb.
It’s called personal growth, you won’t see it anywhere on .ml or whatever cesspit you dragged your opinion from.
It socially shames you into making better choices.
Honestly, I think this is one reason why the disinformation networks - hate radio, Faux Nooz, the bro-ed up magaverse online, etc - is sooo effective.
It used to be socially painful to make stupid choices and to show fealty to really stupid things, like the Republican Party. Now, instead of these people having to go into a corner and nurse their wounds and maybe reflect, they flee into the irreality bubble these things provide, AND THEY ARE VALIDATED in there. They experience no painful shame, or at least not for very long.
See other post. I voted for Harris. I thought an insurrection was enough to convince the populate not to vote for a traitor and I was wrong.
Socially shaming people doesn’t all work. It made me NOT vote for Clinton in 2016. What made me vote for Biden in 2020 and Harris in 2024 is every thing that happened during Trumps presidency. I learned my lesson then.
Democrats’ attitudes at the time, much like the person calling Muslims dumb, was a big factor in me choosing not to vote for Clinton back then.
I’m trying to prevent that same thing happening to other people - especially a voting bloc that can sway my state.
There are paths to personal growth that don’t involve being a dick to others
much like the person calling Muslims dumb
The person you’re referring to didn’t call Muslims dumb. They said “THESE PEOPLE” are dumb, referring to Muslims that voted for trump. Are you being deliberately obtuse, or is reading comprehension simply not in your wheelhouse?
They are cherry picking the specific words they respond to. Which is a classic loser argument tactic that is employed to try and achieve a holier than thou position. See if they can somehow twist your words around to make it sound like you are forcing words into their mouth then they can play the victim. Suddenly if they achieve victim status that means you don’t get to say mean things to them anymore. When really, socially shaming people does still work. There’s just a lot of “coddling” that happens in online social media groups that allows people to massage their feelings in such a way so that they feel empowered to continue holding the same DUMB view points that got them shamed in the first place.
Not sorry, stupid people need to be told they are stupid so they stop being stupid. Sometimes it means calling them out harshly. Get over it. Not everyone needs to be treated like a delicate flower that will wilt at the slightest disturbance. People are not made of sugar, crying won’t make them melt. We have an epidemic of stupidity spreading around the world. America is one of the worst places for it and people like you that cringe at calling out stupid are not helping solve the problem.
When has this ever worked xD the vegan school of recruitment will ensure nobody votes for democrats again, people don’t like being shamed for shit they believe by people who think they’re superior in every way
All things are not equal.
“You fell for a scam” does not feel anything like “somebody else thinks the normal choice backed up by the whole of human history that you also made is immoral.”
Shame is a tool, and just like how you can’t use a screwdriver to fix a leaky pipe tools don’t apply to every situation.
Shame is valid when a person is making bad decisions that cause harm to themselves and those around them, not when somebody else is grumpy because we like fried chicken.
Trying to teach stupid people? Obviously, you’ve never taught. Try teaching a fish to use a unicycle, then get back to us .
He’ll yea those dirty Muslims and queers and commies and shit will never learn bc they’re just so much more stupid than liberals, therefore why even bother appealing to them? Why bother trying to protect them?
This shit literally hurts democrats. This holier than thou shit inspires people who might have voted Democrat to not do that. Why are you an asshole to people who are so close to voting for you? It only makes people hate democrats. Maybe try actually arguing in good faith rather than assuming everyone who doesn’t blindly VBNMW every election is stupid and evil?
I never said ANY OF THAT.
Get those windmills, Quixote.
Denying that you’re guilty of that libshit doesn’t make it any more tempting for anyone to vote democrat, and I say that as someone who voted for harris
Excuse me? Are you saying you gave up on your students?
Nope.
Hard to do when they’ve decided the scammer is God and anyone who says otherwise is the enemy who deserves to die.
I’m not saying go talk to the hardcore MAGA cultists mate. I’m saying seek to understand motivations and be open to dialogue if they can be convinced (ie. Former democrats voters). All I’m saying is coming with “stupid” right off the bat doesn’t help anyone.
I do insult 45 because no matter what I do or say I’m not going to convince him. I think the Muslims who voted for 45 again in my state, however, CAN be convinced
Not everything has to be about teaching a lesson, sometimes it can be just an observation of a fact.
I read some of the comments from AOC’s constituents. Many of them were not smart people either.
If you want to learn what it takes to sway dumb people, you can run a very unethical campaign like Trump’s and get the Presidency.

She asked her constituents that voted for both her and Trump why they voted for Trump so that she could understand them.
This is like asking someone to explain why they believe the world is flat or that we didn’t land on the moon.
“It’s real simple… Trump and you care for the working class.”
Yep, real smart people there. Anybody who voted for both of them together is an idiot. They represent polar opposites of the political spectrum. She’s basically the most progressive politician after Bernie, and he’s the most regressive. She’s thoughtful in the way she expresses herself, and he spews verbal diarrhea and lies as if he would instantly die if he said anything true.
Anybody who thinks Trump cares for the working class is fucking delusional. He’s shown time after time that he doesn’t care about anything that doesn’t directly benefit him. He’s a fucking monster and anyone who can’t see that has to be stupid.
Anybody who thinks Trump cares for the working class is fucking delusional. He’s shown time after time that he doesn’t care about anything that doesn’t directly benefit him. He’s a fucking monster and anyone who can’t see that has to be stupid.
Yep. He had four years and the only thing he did was give away gigantic bags of goodies to the already obscenely wealthy. He didn’t do anything for the working class.
You are focusing on Trump bad. Focus on “what can the Democratic Party do to be more appealing to voters?” The answer is be more like AOC - show you care about the working class.
This only supports my statement.
I think many people already understood they vote with their feelings instead of their brain. They care more about how a candidate makes them feel than about their policies. They care more about “the vibe” than anything logical. And it’s fucking us all. A candidate shouldn’t have to stroke anyone’s fee fees, people should use the meat in their skull prison to make a sound and reasonable choice.
But i guess this country is certainly too stupid to make basic reasonable choices when presented with options. So you have a point. Don’t call them stupid or idiots because their feelings are more important to them than reason. Fucking cromagnon politics. Gonna be even more important when the DoE is ripped out.
When those people vote you need to know why. Or be snide, that’s worked out great for the Dems
It’s because they’re stupid and/or bigoted.
Cool. Don’t meet their concerns then. It’s really important to feel morally superior while you’re politically irrelevant
When “being politically irrelevant” is not being a fascist, who has the moral high ground?
Way to completely misunderstand what I said. I’m done here.
You just look down on other people instead of trying to understand why they did what they did.
Strong anti-generalization assertion.
Except
You are the reason I dislike liberals.
Ah shit, you opened with a cheesy generalization. Validating to see the"every accusation is a confession" thing holds.
But let’s get into it.
-
one was bad but could be swayed
-
one was worse on all counts for all criteria, was only getting worse, can’t be fixed and would tear down all the checks and balances that make government work
They picked the second option, overwhelmingly, despite the massive damage to the very fabric of the nation and the insanely worse prospects for them as a recognizable minority.
Logic it out.
First off all, I didn’t vote for the orange turd. Let’s get that out of the way.
Second of all, there is PLENTY to criticize on the conservative side but I don’t want to see another fascist in office so I’m trying to improve the liberal side.
Muslims had a SIGNIFICANT impact on the results in my state. You are minimizing their core issue - getting democrats to actually support not killing Muslims in Gaza. Thats it
their core issue - getting democrats to actually support not killing Muslims in Gaza
And by choosing that as the core issue they chose to have even more death in Gaza. Even if they convinced the Democratic Party to now shift on this issue entirely, they completely lack the power to do anything about it because they lost the election and control zero branches of government. It’s very difficult not to see this coming from an entire galaxy away.
And so the solution is to keep sending bombs to Israel and ignore them, since they’re so stupid, right? Clearly their votes don’t matter, so why even bother listening to them or appealing to them, right?

Found another not smart person, guys
You just look down on other people instead of trying to understand why they did what they did.
They said while looking down their nose through a smug sense of superiority
Rubles.
They did it for the rubles

Next time she won’t have to ask either
Dumb fucks
Ahha hahahahahhaa hahahahaaha
Nothing about this is funny
That’s not happy laughter. That’s “look at the thing you’ve done to all of us” laughter.
If you say so…
Is the leopards feasting on their faces not funny enough for you?
They thought they were above the consequences of their actions, but they’re in the shit pot with the rest of US.
ITS FUCKING HILARIOUS!
Unlike some, I do not relish with delight, the “wrongness” of my opposition. While I may like winning, I delight in nobody’s misery.
Luckily Stein got lots of house and senate members elected to provide support to her platform… oh wait…
I, too, have unlocked the secret 6th stage of grief: gallows humor
I thought I was alone
Yep the leopards are getting morbidly obese right now.
People with faces upset the leopards started eating them.
No way. The guy who said he’d give Netanyahu a blank check to destroy Gaza opposes Islam? Color me fucking shocked.
Blank check? they already had one and have been bypassing Congress to fund them already under Biden
But also according to your graph none of this is anything new.
If you look at the x axis it may not be new to the fossils running our government, but it’s new to anyone under 40, Harris massively underperforming with young people is pretty directly that.
I love how you’re getting downvoted for posting a graph with factual data on it. I guess this is the “less harm” that democrats keep pleasuring themselves over. Republicans are worse than democrats in general, but on this issue they really are the same. Ah, but we shouldn’t let facts get in the way of people having fun mocking minorities having their relatives massacred in a genocide. Your factual data is really dragging the mood down in this party.
Republicans are worse than democrats in general, but on this issue they really are the same.
It’s frustrating how shitty Republicans can be and yet Democrats still insist on adopting all their positions and getting endorsed by them.
Muslims were scammed in this election for voting for Trump or Jill Stein
that’s what musk was selling. to muslims and middle-easterners in michigan harris was a pro-israel, for pennsylvania’s jewish population she was pro-palestine. and they were hyper-local with the targeting… down to individual city blocks.
In the few days leading up to the election I got two texts, definitely crafted to seem like they were from a Harris aligned pac, but it was saying she was unreservedly behind Israel, and seemed off. I told them to fuck the selves and reported as spam
Wow that’s actually insane with how blatent that is. I imagine shit like this has a huge effect on the politically ignorant.
I mean is that false? The alternative is siding with a group that literally has a toddler hostage rn.
From the article, a little realization that the leopards are gonna eat some faces:
Hassan Abdel Salam, a former professor at the University of Minnesota, Twin Cities and co-founder of the Abandon Harris campaign, which endorsed Green Party candidate Jill Stein, said Trump’s staffing plans were not surprising, but had proven even more extreme that he had feared. “It’s like he’s going on Zionist overdrive,” he said. “We were always extremely skeptical…Obviously we’re still waiting to see where the administration will go, but it does look like our community has been played.”
But seriously, how would anyone imagine that the guy who banned Muslim refugees from entering the US wouldn’t be anti Muslim?
were scammed
You spell ‘failed critical thinking’ with a w. Okay.
Seriously? What did they think was going to happen with donvict in office? I just can’t even right now. If I thought things would be any better in 4 years, I’d beg/borrow/steal to get on that 4 year cruise…
Trump unleashing the leopards to eat the people’s faces.
Exactly as he promised.
Now that is just plain stupid. One can make a moral argument for not wanting to vote for genocide, since the situation is similar, but not the same(!), as the famous Trolley Problem. But actively voting for the other pro-genocide option because you believed him to be a peace candidate? … This is something that needs honest analysis and reflection. Both by these voters as well as by the Democratic Party. How the hell could Trump with his abysmal record be perceived as the peace candidate by so many? I do expect though, that all the involved parties will learn the wrong lessons from this.
With all the blame, shaming and hate towards Muslim, Arab, African and Latino Americans we should also not forget: The only ethnic demographic from which Trump got a majority is: White voters.
Stupid people wanted to claim that Harris was “the same as” Trump. That’s patently false. Someone else said it best. Most of these people are in their own echo chambers and trying to get them to actually behave and vote in their own best interest is becoming nearly futile these days. It’s too easy for people to put themselves into those echo chambers.
Stupid people wanted to claim that Harris was “the same as” Trump.
What we have here are voters who thought Trump would be better than Harris, not the same. I can understand, even if it’s technically wrong, when people feel that genocide is genocide. And they see what is happening there as an extension to them (which any psychotherapist who’s dealt with someone of an ethnic group which is in war can attest to).
Most of these people are in their own echo chambers
Although this is most probably a factor, I believe this to be too simple an explanation. So about the media landscape: Yes. Especially the so-called ‘new media’ is seldomly truly independent but often biased in that they peddle this false narrative that Trump is a peace candidate. Also notable is that ‘alternative media’ is largely seen as independent from billionaires and power, while legacy media is an arm of the establishment. So the narrative of ‘us vs. them’ works even better and since the biggest names lean more right or are outright Republican propaganda channels, this could translate into more people who already resent the status quo falling for them. And thanks to the engagement-optimizing algorithms they fall into these echo-chambers. Sidenote: I’m not de-legitimizing alternative outlets, but want to stress the importance of scrutinizing how they finance themselves. We just had a case of one right-wing propaganda channel being exposed as being financed by a Russian oligarch for years. (I forgot the name)
One could also point to the rhetoric and behavior of the two candidates towards the pro-Palestinian population in the last few weeks and months before the election. One side didn’t let Palestinian voices be heard and even actively and preemptively removed an elected Democrat from one of their own events, because he happened to be Palestinian American. Outside the DNC the protestors were met with disdain and ridicule by DNC delegates. And the other side came to
speaklie to them about what he’s gonna do and that he takes them seriously. People are gonna see this.Or generally when Harris said that she wanted the ‘most lethal military in the world’, while the other side talked about ending wars ‘within the first 24 hours’. Outrageous but a stark contrast.
Or the simple sentiment that with the Dems in power genocide is happening, so I’ll roll the dice. The same anti-establishment sentiment that led to Trump in 2016 in the first place (economic in nature in 2016).
Talking about anti-establishment sentiment: I know of only one exception to this. But after COVID, there’s only one incumbent party in the democratic world, that came out of elections still in power. And that’s Mexico. If you know any others, please feel free to enlighten me.
The list is not extensive by any means and is just me spit-balling. If we want to understand what happened the answers are going to be much more complex.
