US Muslim leaders who supported Republican Donald Trump to protest against the Biden administration’s support for Israel’s war on Gaza and attacks on Lebanon have been deeply disappointed by his cabinet picks, they tell Reuters.
“Trump won because of us and we’re not happy with his Secretary of State pick and others,” says Rabiul Chowdhury, a Philadelphia investor who chaired the Abandon Harris campaign in Pennsylvania and co-founded Muslims for Trump. Muslim support for Trump helped him win Michigan and may have factored into other swing state wins, strategists believe.
Now that is just plain stupid. One can make a moral argument for not wanting to vote for genocide, since the situation is similar, but not the same(!), as the famous Trolley Problem. But actively voting for the other pro-genocide option because you believed him to be a peace candidate? … This is something that needs honest analysis and reflection. Both by these voters as well as by the Democratic Party. How the hell could Trump with his abysmal record be perceived as the peace candidate by so many? I do expect though, that all the involved parties will learn the wrong lessons from this.
With all the blame, shaming and hate towards Muslim, Arab, African and Latino Americans we should also not forget: The only ethnic demographic from which Trump got a majority is: White voters.
If any Muslim thought he gave a shit after his first run I’ve got a fuck ton of bridges to sell you.
Taxes and finances would be the only reason I can see voting for Trump, and when you look at his plans those are also stupid reasons to vote for him.
So basically to any of his voters except the fabulously rich ones… put a quarter in your ass because you played yourself.
“muslims who voted for trump” you mean fucking geniuses
America has too many morons
Muslims: We voted for Trump because Harris supports Israel! He’s not hurting the right people!!!
Trump: Oh, yes. Yes we are. Now get on the fucking plane. The in-flight meal is pork chops.
[Scene opens on a wide, desolate savanna at dusk. The camera slowly pans over a leopard lying under a tree, its large body barely able to move. The sun is setting, casting a cold, dim light over the scene. Soft wind rustles through the dry grass. The leopard’s eyes are dull, its breathing labored.]
Narrator (soft, somber voice): In the wild, leopards are meant to stalk, to hunt, to climb. But for some, this is no longer possible. These are the leopards of the forgotten savanna… the ones who can no longer live the life they were born to lead.
[Cut to a close-up of another leopard, this one lying next to a watering hole, panting heavily. The camera lingers on its enormous, bloated body, its paws barely able to reach the ground. The leopard’s eyes seem vacant, devoid of the wild spark they once had.]
Narrator: Overfed and unable to move, these leopards have been left to a slow, painful existence. They can no longer hunt their prey, no longer climb the trees to escape danger, no longer feel the thrill of the chase. They are trapped in their own bodies.
[Cue the soft, mournful opening chords of “Angel” by Sarah McLachlan. The camera slowly pans over a third leopard, sluggishly trying to rise, but its massive weight prevents it from standing. It lets out a heavy sigh, its once-strong legs buckling beneath it.]
Narrator: They are the forgotten victims of a world that has abandoned them. Too fat to run, too weak to fight… These leopards are slowly fading, one breath at a time. They need your help.
[Cut to a shot of a leopard staring out over the savanna. The camera lingers on its face, eyes half-closed, its expression one of quiet resignation.]
Narrator: For just $3 a day, you can provide the care and support these leopards so desperately need. A donation will help give them the chance to live a life of dignity. Help them find their way back to the wild they were meant to roam.
[The music swells as the camera fades to black, and the words “Your donation can make a difference” appear in white text on the screen.]
Narrator (whispering): Please, don’t let them suffer in silence. The time to act is now.
[The music fades out, and the SPCA logo appears in the corner, along with a toll-free number and website for donations.]
Oh WELL

Voters are responsible for their choices. Not political parties.
Hear hear! I mean, how dare they not vote for the democrats? Don’t they know how this works? Do they think the parties are supposed to “earn” their votes by campaigning for policies that will benefit the electorate? That’s fucking childish!
They did have policies that benefitted the electorate. Lots of them. But I guess when people can’t look at anything but one single issue, and looking poorly I might add, considering that trump was known to be worse by far, it doesn’t matter. But hey, keep blaming anyone but the people responsible for casting their votes. I’m sure it will fix the mess they created by voting with their feelings instead of their reason.
So similar to the Muslims who voted for Biden in 2020?
Yep the leopards are getting morbidly obese right now.
People with faces upset the leopards started eating them.
Lol
Seriously? What did they think was going to happen with donvict in office? I just can’t even right now. If I thought things would be any better in 4 years, I’d beg/borrow/steal to get on that 4 year cruise…
No fucking shit.
Go fuck yourself.
No need. I’m pretty sure Trump will fuck them with round 2 of the Muslim ban, but I hope I’m wrong.
No way. The guy who said he’d give Netanyahu a blank check to destroy Gaza opposes Islam? Color me fucking shocked.
Blank check? they already had one and have been bypassing Congress to fund them already under Biden
“Hey, asshole. Shut up and get on the plane.”- Trump Administration to this chucklefuck in a couple months.
You voted for this, you stupid motherfucker. Now you get to enjoy the ride like the rest of us.
There won’t be planes, or deportations. There will only be caged slave laborers in concentration camps owned by his friends, with the government (read taxpayers) paying the rent month after month, year after year.
Weird kink you got, mate
Concentration camps might be a bit hyperbolic, but that was actually a fairly accurate description of how private prisons manage to make a profit.
Except for a handful of states that passed legislation to prevent it, the 13th amendment makes an exception allowing involuntarily servitude as the punishment for committing crimes. If they manage to create a kangaroo court designed to be a revolving door of convictions for “illegal immigrants”, they absolutely could keep people effectively locked up as slaves for a while.
Concentration camps might be a bit hyperbolic
It is not. Calling them “death camps” would be hyperbolic because Trump hasn’t started talking about a “final solution” (yet), but “concentration camp” is very much a factually-accurate synonym for the sorts of mass detention facilities necessary to implement deportations at the scale Trump has been proposing.
They are already scouting for sites for the “immigrant detention centers”.
Suppose they achieve their objective. All that money being made? No way that system doesn’t want to swallow even more people, and not “just” immigrants.
You are absolutely correct, but I was trying to avoid being inflammatory and giving an easy strawman when explaining why Trump’s concentration camps are within the realm of possibility.
Concentration camps might be a bit hyperbolic
…donvict and this thugs enter the chat…
Trump’s transition team is looking at how many migrants each region can hold, including in Democratic-controlled metropolitan areas across the country. A source familiar with the plans said they prioritize areas with large migrant populations that lack detention facilities, rather than single out Democratic strongholds.
Cities with large populations of migrants — like Denver, Los Angeles, Miami and Chicago — could need additional detention sites built nearby to hold migrants arrested there. The administration might also need to reopen, expand or build new facilities in the Northeast to hold migrants arrested around New York City, Philadelphia and Washington, the source said.
Another source familiar with the plans said so-called sanctuary policies in Democratic cities should not prevent ICE from expanding detention there.
The details of the plan open a window into what Trump has promised will be the “largest deportation operation in American history.” Critics of the plan have said he would lack the money, staffing, willingness from countries to take back migrants, flights and detention space to make it a reality.
They’re the sort of assholes who’d only have ham sandwiches on the flight
