I just saw the release and don’t know what’s actually different or new in this bigger update. Could not find a changelog or a blog post highlighting the changes. I will try it out today. If you have a changelog, please post a link here. Happy New Year everyone!

I tried it a couple of months ago. It’s playable, but even on a Ryzen 5 5600, it barely managed to maintain 30 fps at 640x480. Performance might have improved since then though.
Wouldn’t your GPU have a greater impact? What GPU do you have?
RTX 2080 and no, this emulator is almost entirely relying on the CPU.
Ah, I’m sure there’s a good reason for it to be CPU-bottlenecked, but that’s surprising.
