I knew she was easy and I was 19 and still a virgin. I was/am not proud of that fact.

Why not? Did you approach the relationship dishonestly or something?

I would say I did. I did treat her well, and acted like person should treat their partner but the reason I was dating her is because she was easy. Not because I saw any sort of future with her. It’s a reprehensible reason if you ask me, and she ended up falling head over heels for me. When I broke it off she didn’t handle it well. She broke into my house to crawl into bed with me.

Hmm I see. Well, don’t let me tell you how to feel about your experiences. But I think wanting sex is a completely valid reason to enter into a relationship, as long as you’re up front about it. It sounds like maybe you could have been more open about what you wanted in the relationship. To me that’s a much healthier lesson than pursuing sex is bad.

Oh, I wasn’t meaning to imply that wanting sex was the issue. It was that I was using a relationship as means to that end. It felt scummy at the time and looking back on it I view it as having used her.
