And the basic plot summary is

Elle murdered her brother, and attempted to frame his widow, for the inheritance. But since murder was never proved, the widow can’t be framed. Elle hires you to complete the job, by digging up evidence that lets her frame the widow, and keep all the inheritance for herself.
