I made an llm transcriber for podcasts. Oh…I also added a translator. Is that a genderfluid? I am now realizing Fox News just kept saying things in a scary voice, but didn’t actually provide any information

Oh God, that’s what woke actually means, isn’t it?

A lot’s changed. Back in my parents’ day, a trip to the city meant taking the

to the airport to fly a

and head for meetings and abortions at the

Seems like being trans back then must have been such a gift. People would obviously hold you in such high regard.

It’ll be hilarious if a thousand years from now historians think that we worshipped trans people as gods.

Why shouldn’t we, anyway? Let’s get on that.

No, no I’m pretty sure the bigots support the deportation of trans people… They seem to want to deport everyone not white enough, why stop at race?

Christmas lights often have a female plug on the end so you can chain another string to them. They also aren’t designed to care which end the electricity is coming from.

Now if someone has strung up all their lights, except…oops, they got it backwards, the female end is where the male end should be, and the male end is hanging off the corner of the 2nd story roof, they might be tempted to just use a male to male cord to hook it up instead of having to pull down the entire thing and redo it the other way around.

But… there’s a male plug on the other end… do they also try to plug the bit of the toaster where the toast goes into the wall socket??

But TIL thanks, horrifying though that is

Aside from Christmas lights, some people also use them to give their house power through a generator, but that will back feed into the grid and hat is very illegal.

ITT: figuring out that “trans-” means “across” by giving other words with same prefix. Yey etymology

“meta” also still means “across” in Greece

      phérō meant “I carry”

      metaphor: I carry across

they now use the term for “transportation in general”

here’s a modern truck in Greece for ΜΕΤΑΦΟΡΙΚΗ

in Greek, they use μεταφορική έννοια (metaforikí énnoia – literally “transportation sense”) to mean “metaphor”

I don’t think it was true about Road Ranger, but a lot of GoBots just had their robot heads underneath the vehicle pointing towards the ground when they were in car mode and when I was a kid, I was always confused about how they could see anything but the road surface when they were driving around.

I think this type specifically is referred to as eurotruck. I always thought the trucks with the large front looked away cooler, and more serviceable. You don’t need to tilt the whole cabin forward 😄

5 billion people believe that God is bigender, which is often considered transgender.

Conservatives worship a transgender being. Transphobes cope and seethe.

God is also a genderless being who uses capitalized male pronouns.

I wonder if you’re hitting the nail on the head here? Like… Is all this supposed to be reserved for god, and any person who deviates from the norm is blasphemous?

Or more likely, they haven’t thought that far and just want people other than them to get lost

I think we use male pronouns for god because in the past any kind of authority figure or leader would obviously be male.

Some of His/Her/Their followers still think that way!

Well, that’s normal given the context of the thread. Also I used italics to split the word to emphasise that.

What’s not normal is those people who would tend to read it like that in an everyday context and interpret “trans” as standing for a transsexual rather than merelly as a prefix for change that in several languages is used to make lots of words about something changing.
