Ok so when you talk abou inersia, does that mean that if you drive airplain in the same direction as earth rotacion you will gain more speed and inertia will get stronger than gravity and you will slowly start to levitate? And if that is trye than going in oposite direction will make you go slower than just standing on the ground and gravity should have bigger efect on you and start pushing you to the flor of airplain?

But you didnt answer my question. Lets put airplanes aside and take a look at baloon jump. Do you understand whats happening there or not. If you do than explain it, if eart is rotating than you wouldnt be able to jump and land on the same spot.

This is bulshit, i dont decide will i use a browser depending on who works on it, but depending on the browser itself.

So insted of looking at browser itself this dude sugests we should look at people that work on it and asume the browser is bad if someone working on it is bad which is blindfolded deciding and its nonsense.

So if you have malicios intent and dont have to say anything bad about the browser itself concretly and tehnical because if you lie there, many people that know how it is will say no it doesnt work that way here how it is than you just trash people that are working on it whic is wery hard to veryfi is it trye or not. And probably it isnt…

So when we discus open source software there is no need to talk about writers of the code much because we can discus the code itself and tell concretly if something is bad. Exactly which line and why its bad.

Anything else is just made up and malicios.

Follow the biggest one or the most “live” one where people have recently posted and are active on. Or just follow multiple. 🙂

Also i know that you should research the server “rules” before using it. Because despite lemmy app doesnt collect any data, diferent lemmy instances can have different rules so it can be dangerous to follow random comunities. And should be researched before use. But for now im not doing that often…

Im definetly staying on lemmy and fediverse.

I think that if someone understands what is lemmy and fediverse and how it is different than reddit than it will apriciate it and will stay.

But if that one doesnt understand and see lemmy just like another forum. And judges it by the looks of platform and ease of use, than it may wery easy switch to platform like reddit.

Which is bad because on reddit since it funkcions like it does there are many forbiden topics and deleted posts. Also threads that reddit doesnt allow me to see and so on. Which directly forbids people to speak freely.

I think its like svitching to linux. I swiched a couple of years ago but i understood how linux is diferent and thats why i newer go back and newer will. But someone that switched because linux is more customisable and you can change the look of it as you please and doesnt understand trye diferences will easily switch bac to windows if they release new version with better looks…

So the cay in my opinion is to share more informacion about how things are, so people can understand and see for themselfs why its the real deal.
